Foreword by Muhammad Ali.
“Rasheda Ali brings home the profound liberation of a child’s innate willingness to accept disease without fear.” — Michael J. Fox
Rasheda Ali was motivated to write this book by watching the interaction between her children and her father, the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, former three-time World Heavyweight Champion who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease. Rasheda saw a clear need to help children understand why their loved ones behave a certain way because they have PD. Rasheda is a tireless caregiver advocate on behalf of families who are fighting Parkinson’s disease. She served as Honorary Chairperson on behalf of the Florida Coalition to Cure Parkinson’s Disease in 2002 and 2003 and is involved with leading Parkinson’s Disease organizations.
